Only two days have passed since the winter transfer window came to an end, yet Barcelona has already turned its attention toward business for the summer.
As shared by Mundo Deportivo, the Spanish giants are planning to secure a new right-back when the summer window opens in July. The club has already picked out the player it wants most for that position.

Crystal Palace defender Daniel Muñoz, who is Colombian, is the top name on Barcelona’s list. The club sees him as a strong fit for their needs at the back.
The English side is said to have placed a price tag of no less than €25 million on the 28-year-old defender. That valuation sets the tone for any future negotiation.
Muñoz’s Versatility and Background Add to His Appeal
Part of what draws Barcelona to Muñoz is the fact that he has admired the club since his youth. His ability to operate both at right-back and center-back gives him added value. That level of flexibility is something Barcelona is eager to add to its squad.
So far this season, Muñoz has been involved in six goals across all competitions. He has scored twice and assisted four times in 27 matches.
Recent Earnings from Player Sales
It’s also worth pointing out that Barcelona recently made more than €13 million from the transfer of their academy product Nico González. The midfielder made a move from Porto to Manchester City, and that deal brought in extra funds for the Catalan side.
