Milan’s chances of reaching next season’s Champions League took a major blow after their defeat to Lazio. There had been talks about the possibility of making a second coaching change this season, but it appears the club has adjusted its approach.
Details from Sky Sports Italia show that Milan’s board currently wants Sérgio Conceição to remain in charge at least until the end of the campaign.

Even with that plan in mind, the outcome of the match against Lazio has made the club’s leaders take a more cautious path, now choosing to evaluate things on a match-by-match basis.
Focus on Cup Competition and Summer Changes
Right now, the team is aiming to win silverware, especially in the Coppa Italia. Milan will go up against Inter in the semifinal stage of that competition. Despite this ambition, changes to the coaching staff are being discussed for the summer.
Earlier updates suggested that Cesc Fàbregas, who is currently coaching Como, is seen as the top candidate to replace Conceição when the season comes to an end.
