Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Al-Nassr, has reacted to the recent appointment of Jorge Jesus as the team’s new manager. He made his reaction public through a post on his Instagram story.
Instead of making a personal statement, Ronaldo chose to repost the club’s official announcement about Jesus’s arrival. He added a short welcome message in Portuguese that read, “Bem-vindo, Mister @jorgejesus!”

Something to remember is that Jesus had earlier served as head coach of Al-Nassr’s main domestic rivals, Al-Hilal. His time with them began in the summer of 2023 and came to an end only a few months ago.
Ronaldo Acknowledges the New Coach
Before coming back to Saudi Arabia, Jesus had already handled coaching responsibilities at several clubs, including Benfica, Braga, and Sporting in Portugal. His managerial experience also includes time with Fenerbahce in Turkey and Flamengo in Brazil.
He led Benfica to win the Portuguese league three times, helped Flamengo claim both Brazil’s Serie A title and the 2019 Copa Libertadores, and lifted the Turkish Cup with Fenerbahce during the 2022/23 season.
While in charge of Al-Hilal, Jesus guided the team to win the Saudi Pro League during the 2023/24 campaign.
