During a session at the Qatar Economic Forum on Wednesday, Donald Trump Jr, the first son of U.S. President Donald Trump, mentioned that there is a possibility he might consider running for president someday. He added that he feels a certain pull toward that path.
Donald Trump Jr explained that while he does not have a definite answer yet, he cannot completely rule it out. He said the desire seems to be there and that he will always remain very involved as someone who speaks out strongly on political matters.

He also mentioned that he believes his father brought a real change to the Republican Party. When the moderator on the panel asked him whether he would consider taking over leadership from his father once he steps away from politics, Trump Jr gave a light response, starting with, “Here we go. Well… oh boy,” which was followed by light applause from the audience.
He went on to say it felt meaningful to be asked such a question and appreciated that some people would support the idea.
Lighthearted Moment on Stage
Trump Jr, who is 47 years old, made a joke while sitting beside Omeed Malik, the founder of 1789 Capital. He teased that the applause came from a small group of familiar faces in the crowd, calling them “the couple of people we know.”
The exchange was both humorous and personal, showing a less formal side of the conversation.
