Fenerbahçe decided to take a playful and bold approach in introducing their newest signing, left-back Archie Brown. To announce his arrival, the Turkish football club shared a video filled with humor that subtly mocked Italian club Milan, which had also shown interest in the player.
Reports had surfaced earlier that both teams had gone as far as sending private jets to Belgium, where Brown was located, in hopes of securing his signature.
But the English defender eventually made his choice clear by signing with Fenerbahçe, which inspired the club to produce a cheeky announcement video.
A Creative and Humorous Presentation
The beginning of the video shows two aircraft, used to represent the competing offers from Milan and Fenerbahçe. Later in the clip, Brown appears to be listening to a radio program that claims he is heading to Milan.
He then changes the station, only to hear a new report revealing that he had arrived in Istanbul and finalized his contract with Fenerbahçe.
