A 48-year-old man has found himself in serious legal trouble after being accused of crashing a vehicle into the front gate of Jennifer Aniston’s home in Los Angeles and disturbing her life over a long period.
Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman said on May 7 that Jimmy Wayne Carwyle will face two felony charges, one for stalking and another for vandalism.

Carwyle, who is from New Albany, Mississippi, is expected to appear in court for arraignment on May 8. Authorities from the DA’s office are preparing to request that the court set his bail at $150,000.
Details of the Incident and Ongoing Harassment
On May 5, the situation reached a breaking point when Carwyle allegedly rammed a vehicle into the front gate of Aniston’s residence in Bel Air, a well-known high-end area in Los Angeles. This act reportedly caused major damage to the property belonging to the actress best known for her role in “Friends.”
The authorities also revealed that this act followed a pattern that began in March 2023. They said Carwyle had been continuously disturbing Aniston by sending her a series of unwanted messages through social media, voicemail, and email.
The charges brought forward reflect not just a single action, but a lengthy history of behavior that raised deep concern for the actress’s safety.
