The Jets are once again in search of a head coach following the dismissal of Robert Saleh earlier this season. One of the newest candidates under consideration is Vance Joseph, currently serving as the defensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos.
NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero reported that Joseph is scheduled to interview for the position today.

He joins a growing roster of interviewees, which includes Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores, former Jets coach Rex Ryan, Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel, Maryland’s Mike Locksley, Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, former Panthers and Commanders head coach Ron Rivera, and several others.
Joseph’s leadership has been evident this season, guiding one of the league’s strongest defenses in Denver.
With two decades of NFL experience spanning roles as a position coach, coordinator, and head coach, Joseph brings a wealth of knowledge to the table.
For a team like the Jets, seeking both experience and defensive expertise, Joseph’s background could make him an appealing choice.
However, questions remain about his potential plans for Aaron Rodgers, should he step into the role.
