Stilez Robertson of Triumph Factory Racing has taken the tough step to stop competing in AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross. Even though he put in a great deal of effort to recover from a wrist injury that has troubled him for some years now, the progress he hoped for never came, despite the solid backing he received from the team.
When Stilez joined Triumph ahead of the 2025 season, he had strong hopes of returning to his former level, which had previously earned him four professional podium finishes.

His preseason preparations went well, and he began the new season with the team at Anaheim 1. But by the next weekend in San Diego, a small crash brought back the same ligament trouble in his wrist.
Series of Delays in 2025 Racing Campaign
Following the injury in San Diego, he sat out the rest of the 250SX West season to give himself time to heal. He later returned at the opening round of Pro Motocross at Pala Raceway, hoping to bounce back.
However, his return was cut short when he ran into trouble only one lap into practice. He hit a fallen rider’s bike and once again hurt his wrist.
Even though he could not race, Stilez stayed committed to the team. He became active at the Triumph facility in Georgia, helping his fellow riders with their training routines. In addition to that, he played a part in building Triumph’s new amateur program, sharing his experience and knowledge to help younger riders.
A New Direction for Robertson’s Journey
As this racing season approaches its final stretch, Stilez has now decided to focus on what comes next in his journey.
His time with Triumph has left a strong mark, and everyone within the team is fully behind him as he begins this next phase. They have all extended their best wishes for whatever path he decides to follow moving forward.
According to Stilez, this choice did not come easily. He explained that the constant pain in his wrist forced him to walk away from professional competition.
Even though he’s stepping away from racing, he mentioned how much joy he found helping out the other team riders this summer and how proud he is to be involved in the start of Triumph’s amateur project.
He made sure to thank the entire Triumph team for standing by him during this tough stretch, pointing out how understanding and supportive they have been. He also appreciated all the sponsors who helped him along his journey, as well as his family, friends, and everyone who supported him throughout his career.
