President Donald Trump has revealed plans to add another feature to the White House Rose Garden, this time a portrait of his predecessor, Joe Biden, following the recent paving of the garden’s lawn.
The new addition is part of what Trump described as a “Presidential Wall of Fame,” which he discussed during an interview with The Daily Caller.

Trump, known for building an extensive collection of his own portraits, displayed the idea to Reagan Reese, the outlet’s White House correspondent, while walking her through the newly renovated Rose Garden. He described the planned display as including portraits in gold frames and said it would also feature Biden.

Presidential Wall of Fame
During the tour, Trump showcased several presidential portraits and explained that the collection would soon be displayed along the “Presidential Wall of Fame.” As Hotel California played in the background, he guided Reese through the garden before returning to his office to provide more details about the Biden portrait.
Reese asked if the portrait of Biden would be included, and Trump replied, “Okay – show it. We put up a picture of the autopen.” The reporter laughed at the remark while Trump shifted the conversation to claim that the 2020 election was rigged and incorrectly stated that Biden had “stage nine” cancer. In reality, Biden revealed a stage four prostate cancer diagnosis in May, with a Gleason score of nine.
Trump did not specify exactly where the portrait would be hung, but said the black-and-white painting is currently “being prepared” and would be displayed in about two weeks.
He also noted that the piece would be “very controversial,” and Reese added that it would be “funny.” It remained unclear whether the autopen reference was intended as a joke or if Biden’s portrait would be permanently displayed.

Autopen Allegations
The portrait’s concept follows ongoing claims by Trump and some Republicans that Biden’s staff sometimes used an autopen to sign official documents on his behalf without his knowledge. The device allows assistants to replicate the president’s signature on documents without requiring a physical signature made with ink.
Trump has described the matter as a “tremendous scandal,” asserting that Biden “knew nothing about what he was signing.” Supporters of Trump have suggested that Biden’s frequent use of the autopen, although common among presidents, indicates a decline in mental capacity.
Biden has denied these allegations, telling The New York Times in July that he personally made all decisions during his presidency but sometimes used the autopen for convenience on documents such as clemency orders and pardons issued near the end of his term.
